Week 1 - first pass at casting a plaster slab varying the volume of the cast and applying color during the initial pouring

Week 3 - beginnings of physical applicators onto plaster cast slabs
Material: Plaster
Infusion: Bleach
Applicator: Matches (fire), jazz drumstick brush (etch removal)
Mold: Foamcore with acrylic lining
Week 4 - explorations of different applicators with various applications at to create different outcomes based on amount of time the plaster cast has been curing
Material: Plaster, purple/red Higgins ink, red wine
Applicator: Ink dropper, jazz drumstick brush (etch removal), matches (fire)
Mold: Foamcore with acrylic lining
Week 5 - exploration of various infusions to be cast with plaster with various applicators
Material: Plaster, blue/black Higgins ink
Infusion: Cola, sugar, jello, sparkling water, powdered sugar, tea, tonic water
Applicator: Ink dropper, mac & cheese, rubber ball, frozen peas, race car
Mold: Foamcore with acrylic lining
Week 6 - exploration of controlled ink application over a set interval of time to determine ghosting
Material: Plaster, blue Higgins ink
Applicator: Ink dropper, jazz drumstick brushes (etch removal)
Mold: Foamcore with acrylic lining
Week 7 - extrusion of previous field based on number of intersections
Material: Plaster, blue Higgins ink
Week 8 - exploration of controlled ink application over a set interval of time to determine ghosting

Applicator: Foamcore insert (melted using acetone as process of removal)
Mold: Foamcore with acrylic lining
Week 9
